THINGS YOU CAN ONLY DO IN BERLIN
After the Runseeing Berlin Tour you will already have a first idea about Berlin and which places are exciting for you, whether for another jogging session, relaxing in one of Berlin's parks or enjoying the view from one of the beautiful bridges. But there’s so much other exciting stuff you
can do in Berlin.
THE BERLIN WALL - EASTSIDE GALLERY
The East Side Gallery is a remainder of the Berlin Wall and possibly the largest and longest-lasting open air gallery in the world. The 1316 m long section of the Berlin Wall consists of 105 paintings which were painted in 1990 by artists from all over the world. This art documents a time of change and expresses the euphoria and great hopes for a better, free future.
One of the most famous and particularly striking paintings is the "fraternal kiss" by the former Soviet politician Leonid Brezhnev and the General Secretary of the German Democratic Republic Erich Honecker, a moment captured in 1979 during the 30th anniversary celebration of the foundation of the German Democratic Republic. This painting is "particularly striking, with a
sharp, satirical edge."

BERLIN'S FORMER AIRPORT - TEMPELHOF
Once Europe’s largest airport, testing some of the world’s first aircrafts, Nazi territory, World War II prison and location for some of the most famous Hollywood movies, the history of Tempelhof airport has been very complex and eventful. Since 2008 the airport was closed and opened to Berliners as a
recreational and leisure area.
Take a walk, run, skate or bike on the landing strip of the former airport in Berlin.
If the wind is good, check out some kite landboarding!

Discover Berlin’s underworld and a labyrinth of safety bunkers from second world war.
When Nazi Germany began to lose its first conflicts, an underground system of 3.000 bunkers was built underneath the city. Later on during cold war and the division of Germany, this underground system of tunnels and bunkers became essential for a possible conflict between
the Allies and the Soviet Union to save the population from a nuclear war.
